\"<\/a>Many of us have seen this amazing young man’s TEDx talk about What’s Wrong with our Food System <\/a>which went viral on the internet and Facebook. At only 11 years of age, Birke\u00a0Baehr gave his draw-dropping speech and since that time, has never looked back. Birke, now 14 years old,\u00a0shared his passion for educating the world about the importance of sustainable farming and understanding what is in our food. He shared that someday he hopes to be the next \"<\/a>Joel Salatin<\/a>, who is\u00a0Birke’s biggest\u00a0mentor.\u00a0His first book, Birke on the Farm<\/a>, is a children’s book to help educate children as young as first grade about the importance of sustainable farming and knowing their food.\u00a0He shared how meeting people like, Dr. Vandana Shiva<\/a>,\u00a0has added to his learning about GMOs\u00a0and sustainability. Birke\u00a0Baehr’s message is one that\u00a0both children and adults\u00a0can learn from.
