Austin Vickers: People v. The State of Illusion
What if what you think to be absolutely true in your world is just an illusion? What if the reality you see is created by your limited (less than 1%) of what your mind is capable of perceiving? People v. The State of Illusion explores these questions and more. This film tells the story of Aaron Roberts, an average guy, who is not dealing with all the stress in his life. Austin Vickers, the writer and producer of the film, narrates the story, with the help of experts Dr. Joe Dispenza (from What The Bleep), Dr. Thomas Moore, Dr. Candace Pert, Debbie Ford, and others and explore the scientific evidence on how we not only perceive our reality but how we create it. Vickers explains how we create our own prisons but more importantly gives suggestions on how we can break down those walls to create the life we really want. The experts in the film give us much scientific evidence on how the brain and the mind work and leaves the audience with a new understanding on how we create our reality. This self-empowering film offers many solutions to start making changes in our lives through the use of imagination and offers tools to reprogram those self-limiting stories. Vickers does an excellent job in explaining how his film, People v. The State of Illusion, is about all of us.
