Dr. Don Huber, Professor Emeritus, Plant Pathology, Purdue University, shared some of the latest information on GMOs, glyphosate, infertility and what scientists are finding about this flawed science called genetic engineering. Dr. Huber is one of the leading scientists in the world who continues to educate and research genetic engineering and the toxic herbicide, glyphosate. Glyphosate has now been classified as a carcinogen by the World Health Association. Dr. Huber speaks all over the world on these topics and is revered by many as a leading researcher and educator in his field.

In this comprehensive interview (The link to listen to the Interview is at the bottom of this page), Dr. Huber explained quite clearly how genetic engineering is a flawed science. He discussed some of the research regarding glyphosate and spoke about the ongoing research that is looking at the connection between the rise in infertility in this country, which is up about 30% in the last five years, and the rise in miscarriages. Although the research is not yet complete, it appears to point to glyphosate. When discussing GMOs, Dr. Huber stated that this current technology is:

“The greatest scientific fraud that has ever been perpetrated since the Piltdown Man.”

Dr. Huber talked about the Shiva study which discusses the results of research of integrative oxidative stress with C1 metabolism, which demonstrates significant upregulation of formaldehyde concentrations and depletion of glutathione.

He spoke about the 46 Million birds that were euthanized because of the Avian bird flu, none of which were free range or organic, and possible causation.

Dr. Huber discussed the importance of labeling GMOs. He also spoke about H.R. 1599 (The Dark Act). He believes this Bill is unconstitutional and violates our First Amendment Right of free speech. He further believes it is a discriminatory bill and explains how it attempts to preempt all state labeling. He spoke about the importance of labeling to give individuals chose in what they eat and how the industry fights against labeling because of the inherent liability issues that could arise.

Dr. Huber is very concerned about the children and how this science experiment called genetic engineering is affecting them. He does not think the effects of genetic engineering are irreversible but explained that it is going to take time to remediate the damage to human health and the environment. He stressed the urgency in educating the public about the dangers of GMOs and the accompanying toxic chemicals that could directly be a major cause in the increase of over 32 diseases, our declining rate of fertility and the increasing number of miscarriages.
