General Mills Loaded Cereal is Loaded
Moms Across America is one of the leaders in food testing and was the first to test glyphosate in America. So when General Mills, who claims to champion regenerative agriculture and who bought Annie’s Organics, has a product that is marketed to parents and kids called “Trix Loaded,” it begged the question: What is this General Mills Loaded cereal loaded with? So, with the assistance of a generous funder, they decided to find out what “Trix Loaded” is loaded with.
Today I spoke with Zen Honeycutt, Founding Executive Director of Moms Across America, about those results. The conclusion: Trix is Loaded! It is loaded with heavy metals and agrochemicals that should not be fed to our children, or anyone for that matter. It is loaded with toxins!
In this short interview, Zen discusses the results of the testing and how the heavy metals and agrochemicals, including glyphosate, can affect human health. As a spoiler to the interview, aluminum levels were 1,365% and 1,650% higher than the EPA maximum allowable level in drinking water. The numbers of childhood illnesses are increasing at an alarming rate. Autism and children on the spectrum is skyrocketing as well! Honeycutt shares her valuable knowledge about why these rates are on the rise and offers some suggestions about what you can do to hold these corporations accountable for putting profit over people–especially our children.
