Kelly Ryerson: Glyphosate Girl, The Latest From DC and American Regeneration

This week I spoke with Kelly Ryerson, Glyphosate Girl, about what is happening in Washington DC and with President Trump signing the Executive Order saying we need to keep using glyphosate because it is a matter of National security! What the H@&$!

Ryerson is the Co-Executor Director of American Regeneration, and Founder of the news platform, Glyphosate Facts. She is very active on Instagram @glyphosategirl. She has been visiting DC and lobbying for several years in Washington regarding the use of the many toxic chemicals used in this country, the use of glyphosate as a dessicant, the Pesticide Immunity Shield which Bayer, formerly Monsanto, is trying to get passed, and more. She has been on the front lines trying to protect our rights against these poisons that are ubiquitous in our food supply, soil, water and air.

We talked about the Pesticide Immunity Shield that Bayer is trying to get passed on a State level which eventually would mean that if we are injured by their products, pesticides, herbicides, etc., we have no recourse and cannot sue them. It would virually give them carte blanche to continue poisoning us without any liability. They are sneaking these Pesticide Liability Shields into different State Bills and it has already passed the first step in the Farm Bill.

We further discussed the use of Glyphosate as a dessicant (pre-harvest drying agent) that is sprayed on some of our US Wheat and other crops and whether there has been any progress with getting this practice banned.

The news is mostly pretty bad but we are not going to give up. There are many fighting for our rights to not be poisoned by these toxic chemials. She shared information and details about the Rally happening in Washington DC in April which is being called “The People vs. Poison.” If you can go, please join her and many others there!
