Toxic Legacy: Stephanie Seneff, PhD
Toxic Legacy–what are we leaving our grandchildren? There are not many people who have studied the weedkiller, glyphosate, as much as Stephanie Seneff, PhD. Seneff, has been affiliated with MIT for over 5 decades, has 4 advanced degrees from this institution, is a senior scientist there and she has been studying glyphosate for almost a decade. In our talk with her, she shares how the weedkiller glyphosate is destroying our health and the environment.
At Food Integrity Now, we have shared many interviews and articles with you about the herbicide, glyphosate. We have interviewed experts like Dr. Don Huber and we consider ourselves to be well educated and informed about glyphosate. However, Seneff has taught us through her book, Toxic Legacy, How The Weedkiller Glyphosate is Destroying our Health and the Environment, that here is much more to learn about what glyphosate is doing to our bodies and to our planet.
Seneff has spent the last decade putting together the pieces of why human health is declining and how the rise of many diseases correlates with our increased use of this herbicide, glyphosate. Glyphosate is the most widely used herbicide in the world. She is a scientist who deeply understands biochemistry and she is determined to reveal the truth about glyphosate and Roundup. In her book Toxic Legacy, she educates us about the dangers of this toxic herbicide and how it interferes with our immune system and overall health. She discusses various mechanisms in the body and how glyphosate can interrupt, deplete, and harm those mechanisms, including our immune system, endocrine system (reproductive system), liver, kidneys, and our brain. Glyphosate has been found in our food, air, water, bodies, human breast milk and our soil. It is harming our pets, the bees and many other animals on the planet.
Seneff says:
I believe that glyphosate is the most dangerous environmental chemical we face today due to its unique mechanism of toxity, careless application and pervasive presence.
Seneff also knows that the biochemistry in our bodies is marvelous and miraculous! She feels much of the damage caused by glyphosate can be reversible. In the last part of her book, she offers solutions on how we can do this! She says:
There are simple, powerful changes you can make right now that will make a world of difference.
We are grateful to Stephanie Seneff, PhD, for all of her continued work and research to educate us about glyphosate! Now, it is up to us to take action. Glyphosate is a global threat, and we cannot be satisfied until it is banned! To order Toxic Legacy, which will be released on July 1, 2021, click here:
