MISSION
Food Integrity Now envisions a healthy and sustainable world without GMOs or harmful pesticides in our food–a world where our body, mind and spirit can thrive.
THE VISION
Three friends, Susan Wright, Matt Spaeth and Carol Grieve’, started Food Integrity Now in March of 2010. The reason we created Food Integrity Now was that we felt that there needed to be a forum to address what was happening with our global and local food supply. Hence, we created a platform so that an honest and integrous dialogue could be had that addressed the state of our food system.
FOUNDATION
Since March of 2010, we have over a hundred podcasts with some the best experts in the world and have written many articles that address issues that are affecting our food supply. To browse topics that are of interest to you, go to our blog and do a search to find shows that address those issues.
SOCIALLY ACTIVE
In the last three years, we have grown exponentially on our show listenership, in our subscriptions to our website, on Facebook and on Twitter. COMING UP
We have some really exciting weekly interviews coming up with some of the most pertinent guests in the food justice movement. We are in the process of creating a news segment so that we can timely address important food issues as they arise and keep our subscribers and social media fan base as up-to-date as possible.
CALL TO ACTION
We would also like to ask you for your assistance on various calls to action. In that regard, please let us know what your talents are and how you would like to be involved with us in this movement. Here are a few of the areas in which we need your assistance:
- research and dissemination of petitions
- contacting senators and congressmen when various food bills are being voted on
- commenting to the FDA, the USDA, EPA and APHIS on important issues regarding our food supply
- GMO labeling campaigns
- GMO education
- advertising and fundraising to cover our costs in creating weekly podcasts and maintaining our website
